Tonight was my first performance at the Gosford Sailing Club.  I’d heard several comics mention good things about host Craig Annis and what a great show he puts on.  Craig contacted me during the week via mutual comic friend Ruven Govender and invited me to perform.

Especially for a Friday night, we had a surprisingly good run up the F3, getting to the venue an hour early.

The venue was already full and several people we spoke to said they were there specifically for the comedy.  All good signs.  When Craig announced the comedy would start in 15 minutes, the whole room applauded so it was good to know in advance it was going to be a receptive audience!

With Craig as Emcee, I shared the stage with three other comedians including the brilliantly funny Peter Berner as the headline act.

I did some of my tried and true stuff as well as a few newer gags including one I wrote earlier today specifically for the venue!
